DESALINATION PLANT PROJECT (2008-2010)

The Gold Coast Desalination Plant was designed and constructed in response to the unprecedented drought in South-East Queensland and the need for a non-climate dependent water source. The A$1.12b project was successfully delivered using innovative, sustainable approaches and proactive community consultation.

At this site we had one main production kitchen, catering for 1800 people daily. We opened our doors on a seven day roster, with a minimum 12 hour day to accommodate night workers as well as early morning workers.

The main kitchen area served a variety of dishes, with a breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, with light snacks and healthy options also available.

We also organized functions and board room meetings to accommodate the executives of highly renowned companies such  as the John Holland Group, Veolia Water Australia, Sinclair Knight Merz and the Premier of Queensland to name but a few.

The main focus was to cater for and provide a service for the work force onsite.

Our Kitchens are setup and ready to go, and are also customisable to suite large scale specific projects. We have collectively over 30 years of experience in the restaurant and catering industries and have devised a standard inclusions package that covers most typical project scenarios, to make your life easier.
